Wikipedia - Shiga Lakes

Shiga Lakes (滋賀レイクス), officially Shiga Lakestars, is a Japanese men's basketball team playing in the Western Conference of the B.League. They are based in the Shiga Prefecture.

Shiga Lake Stars (滋賀レイクスターズ Shiga Reikusutāzu) este o echipă profesionistă de baschet din orașul Ōtsu, prefectura Shiga, Japonia. Echipa concurează în Liga Japoneză Națională de Baschet (JBL).

Echipa a fost fondată în 2000 ca Nagaoka Albirex BB (長岡アルビレックスBB Nagaoka Arubirekkusu BB) în Nagaoka, prefectura Niigata. În 2004, echipa s-a mutat în Otsu și și-a schimbat numele în Shiga Lake Stars.

Lake Stars câștigă titlul JBL II în 2007 și 2014, iar în 2017 echipa a câștigat Cupa Împăratului. În 2018, Lake Stars au câștigat primul lor titlu JBL, după ce au învins-o pe Kawasaki Brave Thunders în finală.

Stadionul echipei este Arena Artizan din Otsu, cu o capacitate de 10.000 de locuri.
