Oman - Federation Cup

The Oman Professional League Cup (Arabic: كأس دوري المحترفين عمان) (known as the Mazda Professional Cup for sponsorship reasons), previously known as the Oman Federation Cup, is an Omani football competition. The first edition was played in 2007 and was known as the Oman FA Cup. The competition was not played again until 2012.

The competition tends to feature all clubs currently playing in the top flight. The Professional League Cup ranks far below the prestigious Sultan Qaboos Cup in terms of domestic competitions.

In 2014, ahead of the 2014-15 Oman Professional League Cup, Oman Football Association announced that Mazda had agreed to sponsor the Professional League Cup and would be known as the Mazda Professional Cup for a period of four years. According to a four-year agreement reached by the two parties, Mazda became the title sponsor of the 14-team competition.

Oman - Cupa Federaţiei este o competiţie de fotbal din Oman, disputată anual între cele mai bune cluburi din ţară. Turneul a fost înfiinţat în 1972 şi de atunci a devenit una dintre cele mai importante competiţii din calendarul fotbalistic din Oman.

Cupa Federaţiei se joacă într-un format eliminatoriu, cu două semifinale şi o finală. Cele patru cluburi care participă la competiţie sunt câştigătoarele celor patru regiuni din Oman: Regiunea Muscat, Regiunea Dhofar, Regiunea Al Batinah şi Regiunea Al Dhahirah.

Câştigătorul Cupei Federaţiei se califică pentru Cupa AFC, competiţia continentală de cluburi a Asiei.

Turneul este un eveniment foarte popular în Oman şi atrage un număr mare de spectatori. De-a lungul anilor, Cupa Federaţiei a fost câştigată de unele dintre cele mai mari cluburi din Oman, precum Dhofar, Al Seeb şi Al Suwaiq.
