Wikipedia - Ligue 1 (Mali)
The Ligue 1 (for sponsorship reasons known as Ligue 1 Orange) is the premier basketball competition for clubs in Mali. The league consist out of ten teams. The most decorated team in the league is Stade Malien, who have won a record 18 league championships.
The champions of the league are eligible to play in the qualifying rounds of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
Turneul de baschet din Mali, "Mali - Premiere Division", este cea mai importantă competiție de baschet din țară. Este organizat de Federația Maliană de Baschet și se desfășoară anual, cu participarea a 10 echipe. Echipele concurează într-un sistem de rundă dublă, fiecare echipă jucând de două ori cu toate celelalte echipe. Cele mai bune patru echipe din sezonul regulat se califică pentru play-off, unde se joacă într-un format de eliminare directă. Câștigătoarea play-off-urilor este declarată campioană a Mali - Premiere Division.
